Watch Pac-12 Football

Watch Pac-12 football games live on TV today by choosing from all the cable, satellite and internet TV packages that include every channel airing a Pac-12 game. Or stream Pac-12 games online from your mobile device, smart TV or streaming box. All options are detailed throughout this guide, along with current home and away schedules for all Pac-12 teams.

Pac-12 Networks

The Pac-12 conference is the only conference in the NCAA to have a dedicated sports network that they own outright. And given lucrative contracts from FOX and ESPN (to carry a combined 44 Pac-12 games per season), the Pac-12 was able to create a main Pac-12 Network, which is a national cable channel, and six regional sports networks - each of which are dedicated to two of their schools:

Pac-12 Arizona: Arizona and Arizona State
Pac-12 Bay Area: Cal and Stanford
Pac-12 Los Angeles: UCLA and USC
Pac-12 Mountain: Colorado and Utah
Pac-12 Oregon: Oregon and Oregon State
Pac-12 Washington: Washington and Washington State

All content produced on these channels are made by the conference and students, and the broadcasts, except for the main Pac-12 Network, are all regional.

Cable packages also offer additional sports bundles that include all Pac-12 Networks (with an s), so you can watch every Pac-12 game, regardless of location, for an extra monthly fee.

Expected Coverage
The main Pac-12 Network is responsible for airing 35 regular season games featuring Pac-12 opponents, and they aim to select the games with the largest national appeal.

The regional networks are responsible for airing all games that don't make it onto Pac-12 Network, ESPN or FOX. If a Pac-12 game doesn't air nationally or regionally, it will stream on Pac-12 Plus instead. (Streaming info provided below).

Pac-12 on ESPN & FOX

The Pac-12 entered into a 12-year media rights contract with ESPN and FOX, that started in the 2012-13 season. This contract allows both ESPN and FOX to each broadcast 22 Pac-12 football games per season. ESPN and FOX also get to alternate airing the Pac-12 Championship Game (Fox gets even years, ESPN odd).

Fox Sports airs 22 Pac-12 football games every season, split between their main FOX network and their national cable channel FS1.

FOX is an over-the-air station you can watch at no cost simply by purchasing a digital antenna and hooking it up to your TV, and doing a search for local channels. Otherwise FOX is included in most every cable provider's package that includes local channels

FS1 is a cable channel; you'll need a cable plan in order to watch any Pac-12 game on this network. Expect a majority of Fox Sport's 22 allotted games to air on FS1 over FOX.

But the biggest primetime matches will still air on FOX.

ESPN Channels
The family of ESPN channels, including ABC, are contracted to air 22 regular season Pac-12 games, plus the Pac-12 Championship Game on years ending in an odd number. The sports TV giant splits up coverage between many different stations.

The biggest matchups air on either ESPN or ESPN2, depending on competing coverage for that night or weekend. And if both of those channels are booked, look to ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNews or ESPN+, their streaming-only service (more details just below).

ESPN and ESPN2 are included in most every basic cable package or higher, while ESPN3, ESPNU and ESPNews are found in mid-tier plans ranges or higher, that slant toward carrying more sports-geared channels.

ABC is a local channel. Just like FOX, ABC is an over-the-air TV channel you can watch for free with a digital antenna hooked up to your television. But if you prefer cable, ABC is included in every basic cable plan or higher that includes local stations.

Expected Coverage
The contract with Pac-12 details ESPN to air eight Thursday or Friday night games, a weekly 7:30pm PT game and two prime time games a season on ABC (ESPN's sister station).

Stream Pac-12 Games

The Pac-12 conference made sure you'll be able to live stream every Pac-12 home game and most every Pac-12 away game online (but perhaps not all as away game broadcasts are subject to the opponent's media rights deals).

Whether that be from Pac-12 Network's website or app, or Fox's and ESPN's online or mobile apps. Login with your cable credentials to any of these links below to live stream any Pac-12 game that network is carrying. Device compatibility is included for each service.

Pac-12 Networks
Every Pac-12 Network streams from the same website, whether it's the main network or a regional network. But you must have a cable plan that includes any given regional network to access it's live stream. The website allows you to toggle between all seven networks.

Stream: Pac-12 Network Live
App: Pac-12 Now app
Devices: iOS devices, Apple TV, Android, Amazon devices.

Pac-12 Plus
And for those games that don't make it onto national or regional TV, Pac-12 Plus streams those games online, and sometimes for free on their Facebook page.

Stream: Pac-12 Plus and Pac-12 Plus Facebook.

Fox Sports
For Pac-12 games airing on FOX or FS1, use the Fox Sports Live website or app.

Stream: Fox Sports Live
App: Fox Sports app
Devices: iOS and Android phones and tablets, Apple TV, Roku players, XBox, Chromecast, fireTV, androidtv.

ESPN Channels
All Pac-12 games airing on ESPN, no matter if it's ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNews or ABC.. they all live stream on their WatchESPN website and app.

Stream: WatchESPN
App: ESPN app
Devices: iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Chromecast, Roku players, Samsung Smart TVs, smart TVs with androidtv, Playstation and Xbox gaming consoles, Amazon Fire, Oculus.

If ESPN has rights to a Pac-12 game but can't air it on TV, they will most likely live stream that game on ESPN+, which is their standalone streaming service. ESPN+ uses the same ESPN website and app but does require an additional monthly membership. No contract though, and they usually offer a 7-day free trial.
