Watch LSU Tigers Games Live this Season

The Fighting Tigers are one of the most storied programs in college football. They started in 1893, have been playing in the same Tigers Stadium since 1924 and have been a member of the SEC since 1933. LSU has multiple national championship titles and is one of the most sought after schools for NFL scouts.

Add all that up and you get a team that makes it onto national TV a lot. ESPN, SEC Network and CBS take turns airing Tigers homes games throughout the regular season. And LSU away games can air on any number of FOX or NBC owned stations, as well as ESPN, SECN or CBS, depending on their opponent. For games that don't make it onto live television, their games can live stream on SEC+. Sections below provide info for each scenario, with cable options, live stream links and mobile app downloads.

Watch LSU Home Games

ESPN and CBS own broadcasting rights to all SEC football home games, including LSU. They can choose to broadcast the games on TV, stream the games online or pass off rights to another network - given that LSU is so popular though, this rarely happens.

Look for LSU hosted games to air on one of the many ESPN stations (including sister station ABC), the primary CBS local channel or the SEC Network, a conference-specific network owned and operated by ESPN.

Tigers Games on ESPN, ABC

ESPN has many channels -- ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNews and ABC -- any of which that can broadcast LSU. They usually pick ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC because the Tigers garner such a large national interest.

ABC is an over-the-air, local channel you can watch completely for free if you hook up a digital antenna to your TV. You need to live enough to an ABC affiliate tower to get the signal; 15-60 miles is typical depending on the quality and strength of your antenna. And ESPN and ESPN2 are included in most basic cable plans, while their other stations are usually found in mid-tier or higher plans.

Our table shows every provider offering each station; you can use ESPN's live stream and app links once subscribed. The ESPN app works on all Apple and Android phones, tablets, fireTV, Chromecast, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, Apple TV, Kindle Fire, androidtv, Playstation, Xbox and Oculus.

Fighting Tigers on CBS

CBS airs one primetime SEC football game every week of the regular season, under the SEC on CBS branding. They share rights with ESPN in selecting games to air, but CBS gets first choice. Look for the most high profile LSU games of the year to air on CBS in the Saturday afternoon time slot.

CBS is broadcast over-the-air, meaning you can tune in locally and watch 100% for free with a digital antenna. If you already have cable, CBS comes standard in most every basic cable plan that includes local channels.

Watch CBS-produced LSU games live on their app, website or CBS All Access platform after logging in with your cable credentials. App is compatible with Apple and Android smart phones and tablets, Apple TV, Amazon Fire products, Playstation and XBOX consoles, Chromecast, Roku players and Roku smart TVs.

**If you have CBS as part of your cable plan, you can use your cable login info and get CBS All Access for free. It's also available as a standalone streaming service for $5.99/month and comes with a free trial (usually 7 days but trial period can vary).

LSU Football on SEC Network, SEC+

The SEC Network is dedicated to all things SEC sports with a primary focus on SEC football and basketball. SECN is a cable channel available with most every cable provider out there -- whether it be traditional cable companies like Spectrum or Xfinity, satellite providers DISH or DirecTV, or cord-cutting options like YouTube TV or Hulu Live TV.

And SEC+ is the streaming-only companion network to SEC Network. If ESPN chooses not to air an LSU game on TV that game will likely live stream on SEC+.

Our table shows every provider and plan that includes SEC Network. Once you have a plan with SEC Network you can live stream the channel from ESPN's website or mobile app. You also get access to SEC+ at no extra cost once you have a cable plan that includes SEC Network, just login with cable credentials via the ESPN app or website.

Watch LSU Away Games

Half the season LSU plays away games and broadcasting rights are determined by their opponent. If they are playing an in-conference game or another conference ESPN or CBS has rights to, those games can still air on those networks. But they can also air on the other two major networks that carry college football games - FOX and NBC.

LSU Games on FOX

Fox Sports has many networks that air college football games - the main FOX network, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), Fox Sports 2 (FS2), three regional college sports networks (Fox College Sports Atlantic, Pacific and Central) and over a dozen Fox Sports Regional Networks that air college and pro games.

That's a lot to keep up with but it helps to know that most high profile games air on FOX or FS1. FOX is another local channel you can watch for free with a digital antenna. And FS1 comes standard with most every entry-level cable plan.

If LSU does get bumped down to a smaller FOX network due to a non-conference match-up, you'll need a cable plan that includes FOX Sports regional networks. Not every provider plays nice with FOX (or vice versa) so be sure and use our table to see which plans currently offer each channel. It can change often and our links show exactly when their plans were last audited. Also note that regional networks require you to be in that region to watch but the most expensive cable plans include every FOX regional channel regardless of location. This means looking at Spectrum, Xfinity, DISH or DirecTV; cord-cutting options lack the option to get every out-of-market regional channel from FOX.

Live stream LSU games on FOX channels with the Fox Sports website or mobile apps, once subscribed. The app is on the Apple and Google Play app stores and also works on Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, Chromecast, fireTV and androidTV.

Tigers Games on NBC

You won't see many LSU games on NBC channels, unless they play Notre Dame in an away game. In that scenario, or for any other LSU game on NBC know you can watch for free with a digital antenna, as NBC broadcasts over-the-air locally. Otherwise NBC is included in most every cable package that includes local channels. Also NBC owns NBCSN and USA Network and very occasionally those networks air college football games instead.

Live stream NBC online or with their sports app that works on iOS and Android devices, Microsoft smart devices, Roku players, fireTV products, Chromecast, Xbox and Samsung smart TVs. Authentication required.
