How the Panthers Schedule is Determined

The Carolina Panthers season is divided up between eight at-home games and eight away games, with one week not including a game known as a bye week. The schedule is created with an algorithm determining which games are played and where. This means there are no exact rules as to which weeks will be at home, and which weeks will be away.

The Panthers will always play every team in their own division (NFC South) twice a season, one game will be at home, while the other game will be at the opponent's home stadium.

This leaves 10 remaining games of the season. Four of which will be played against a different NFC division (North, East, West) while another four will be played against an AFC division. The last two games will be played against two teams from the NFC division based off the previous year's season records.
